Alison Hiestand

Prior to joining BSG as Vice President of Research and Analysis, Alison most recently worked as the Finance Director for Nick Freitas’ campaign for Congress in VA-07, a record-breaking campaign that raised more money in a single quarter than any congressional Republican candidate in Virginia state history. Before that, she was a Senior Research Associate at America Rising, focused on U.S. House races. Alison is originally from Connecticut but has lived in the Commonwealth ever since attending the University of Virginia (’18). She has degrees in Government and Economics, as well as a minor in Middle Eastern History and Arabic.
