We are seeking a Research Associate to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research using various sources—public news and records, social media, legislative databases, and more—to produce comprehensive reports that drive our clients’ polling, earned media, and paid media initiatives

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an analyst, researcher, or correspondent in politics, policy, finance, or a public affairs-related field.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for news and a curiosity that drives deep research and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in online research platforms and field research.
• Ability to stay informed on the latest developments in political campaigns, legislation, and regulatory changes.
• Skilled in identifying news angles and generating creative ideas for earned media and social media campaigns.

Requirements

• A minimum of an undergraduate degree, preferably in communications, policy, political science, government affairs, economics, or related field.
• Relevant experience in a legislative body, public interest, campaign, or grass-roots researcher/policy role is highly preferred.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate ideas persuasively.
• Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in online research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, campaign finance databases, and other research databases.
• Be a creative, problem solver who can identify and address the unique needs of each client.
