Description

We are seeking an experienced communicator/advocacy manager to lead an initiative focused on federal and state policy solutions. The role requires serving as the organization’s lead spokesperson, managing advocacy strategy and execution, engaging news media, supporting state-specific initiatives, and coordinating with organization supporters and consultants.

This is a full-time position based in the Washington, D.C. area.

Qualifications

A strong candidate will be highly organized, possess a proven track record in engaging with executive leadership, demonstrate strong communication skills, and bring essential, in-depth policy expertise. Previous Capitol Hill, Administration, campaign, and/or trade association experience is strongly desired. Experience working with or knowledge of labor organizing and legal professions is a plus.
