Scott Sloofman is a Senior Vice President in BSG’s Communications Practice. He comes to BSG after more than a decade working on Capitol Hill and political campaigns across the country. He specializes in delivering BSG’s clients strategic communications planning that helps them achieve their desired outcomes.

Most recently, he served on the senior staff of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as Staff Director of the Senate Republican Communications Center. During Scott’s time working as a senior communications adviser for the Senate Republican Leader, Congress passed the CARES Act, historic trade deals, and confirmed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett. 

Previously, Scott served on multiple winning political campaigns, including as Communications Director for Maryland Governor Larry Hogan’s successful re-election campaign and Leader McConnell’s 2014 re-election campaign. Sloofman began his career working at the Republican National Committee. He is a graduate of American University.
