George Hartmann is a Vice President in BSG’s Communications Practice. He is a trusted hand in crisis management, media relations, and policy advocacy for executives, litigation teams, and trade associations. He works with clients to shape narratives and the media environment to effectively protect reputations and achieve outcomes.

George is a seasoned policy communicator with years of experience as a strategic communications advisor to major corporations and U.S. Senate Committees. He has led, coordinated, and implemented public affairs strategies for long-term legislative campaigns, legal and congressional investigations, and several high profile federal nominations. George has served on the staffs of the Senate Finance, Budget, and Judiciary Committees, providing him with valuable insight into healthcare policy and government oversight. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
