BSG is seeking a Partner or Managing Director level professional to lead the growth and operations of its subsidiary, Kyber Research, which specializes in public records and global intelligence/investigations on behalf of corporate clients.

Ideal candidates will have substantive knowledge and experience with FOIA and state public records law, legal research, investigative journalism, government records, and/or compliance.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Manage all operations and projects to successful and efficient completion, including network management, directing research engagements, and analyzing records.
• Expand and refine Kyber’s offerings, clearly defining our products and services to the marketplace
• Grow Kyber sales channels into a broader marketplace, including law firms and investment funds/private equity, with the goal of developing Kyber as a stand-alone service and provider of investigations
• Develop new Kyber verticals to complement the subsidiary’s current public records capability
• Work with BSG leadership to incorporate Kyber’s services into existing client engagements
• Lead Kyber’s broader marketing efforts in conjunction with BSG Marketing Director
• Ensure Kyber records are incorporated as a dataset in BSG’s wider AI and technology initiatives and offerings, while championing and actively engaging with Kyber’s internal automation initiatives.

Overall, the objective of this new senior-level executive is to position and grow Kyber as a go-to solution for the due diligence, investigations, and intelligence needs of major law firms, investment firms, and other significant corporate clients.

The Head of Kyber will report directly to the CEO and have initial support from two (2) staff members.

Compensation

We are open to offering a competitive salary that includes significant incentives for growing the Kyber vertical. We would also include a path to ownership roadmap for gaining equity in BSG’s overall enterprise that corresponds with Kyber’s growth.
