We are seeking a Senior Associate to play a key role as part of our public affairs team distilling relevant news to develop impactful content for our clients. The ideal candidate possesses an insatiable curiosity, unbiased perspective, and strong writing skills. The candidate will assist with project management responsibilities for a portfolio of accounts spanning multiple industries. 

Key Areas of Responsibilities 

• Craft attention grabbing content by distilling information into tangible messages for a targeted audience.
• This includes drafting website content, op-eds, statements, press releases, social media, and executive summaries. 
• Use a variety of tools to continuously monitor all relevant forms of media, including traditional print, social, broadcast, and online news for breaking developments. 
• Compile news items into collections and distribute to clients and internal stakeholders at regular, predetermined intervals. 
• Assist with the composition of analytical reports. 
• Track and monitor client deliverables and serve as a project manager for key accounts. 
• Serve as a liaison between BSG’s internal team, the client, and external vendors (when applicable). 

Required Skills 

• A natural writer and wordsmith that excels when tasked with writing on a variety of topics with a fast turnaround. 
• Strong interest in or experience with monitoring and/or analyzing world news and current affairs. 
• Strong interest in or experience using social media monitoring tools (Tweetdeck, Twitter Advanced Search, Buzz Sumo etc.) 
• Ability to efficiently manage varied time constraints while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
